When you ask for a quote, send an enquiry or place an order, we collect:

• your name, phone number, email address and company name (if you give one)
• delivery or site address and postcode
• details of the job — materials, quantities, dates, access notes and anything else you tell us
• records of orders, deliveries, invoices and payments

The postcode finder on our website sends the postcode you type to postcodes.io (an open UK postcode lookup service) to suggest an address. We don't use cookies for advertising or tracking.

• To quote for and carry out your job — pricing, arranging delivery, contacting you on the day. Our lawful basis is taking steps to enter into, and performing, a contract with you.
• To send you confirmation emails about enquiries you've made with us.
• To keep business records — invoices, waste transfer notes and accounts we're required to keep by law (legal obligation).
• To run our business — dealing with queries and complaints, and improving our service (our legitimate interests).

We don't sell your information. We only share it with:

• the companies that host our website and form data, and send our emails on our behalf, under contracts that require them to keep it secure
• quarries, hauliers or disposal sites where they need delivery or collection details to do the job
• our accountants, insurers and professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it

Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, it's protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires.

• Enquiries and quotes that don't lead to an order: up to 2 years.
• Customer, order and invoice records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting.
• Waste transfer notes: at least 2 years, as the law requires.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. Some of these rights don't apply where we need to keep records by law. Email admin@sheffieldaggregate.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113 — though we'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.

Our website uses a single essential cookie to remember whether you've accepted or declined cookies. It's stored in your browser and keeps the consent bar from reappearing on every visit. We don't use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking.

When you first arrive, a bar at the bottom of the screen asks you to Accept or Decline. Your choice is saved and the bar is dismissed. If you decline, the rest of the site remains fully usable, but any attempt to fill in a form — our enquiry, quote or dispatch forms — will reopen the consent bar and block the form until you accept. We do this so we can be sure you've acknowledged how we handle your details before you send them to us.

To change your choice later, you can clear the cookie from your browser's site data and the bar will appear again on your next visit.
